COVID - 19 Update
We are thrilled to announce that Dental Sense is open and operating as usual during lockdown 2.0. If you already have an appointment scheduled this will go ahead unless you advise us otherwise.
We only have a limited number of appointments per day due to the extensive cleaning and social distancing requirements. Coming to the dentist is now a different experience for you.

How can I get an appointment?
We are contacting patients who have had an appointment cancelled because of lockdown as a priority. Please note this list is extensive and we are trying our best to contact everyone who had an appointment cancelled.
What will happen at my appointment?
When you arrive please read the sign on the front door. Please wait patiently for a member of staff to escort you into the practice.
You will directed to a hand sanitiser station when you enter the practice.
You will either be escorted into the surgery straight to the dentist or given a designated seat in our waiting room.
Once your appointment is complete, you will be escorted out of the practice via the hand sansitiser station by a member of staff.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
You will be sent an e-mail before your appointment with some medical forms to fill and these must sent back to us via e-mail before your appointment.

Please do not bring any unnecessary belongings to your apointment. You will be asked to place these in a plastic box outisde the surgery. -
Please brush your teeth before your appointment. -
Please visit the bathroom at home prior to your appointment as these facilites will not be operational. -
We currently have a limited capacity waiting room and a locked door policy. We ask that you arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. If there is no capacity in our waiting room you may be asked to wait outside.
How do I pay for my appointment?
Appointments require a deposit to secure the valubale clinical time. This will be done over the phone. Please have your card details to hand when making the appointment.
What additional safety measures are in place?
The Government has provided extensive instructions to dental practices. We have adjusted our procedures, protocols and policies in line with this advice. Some of these measures include:
- Hand sanitisers placed at entry points and reconfiguration of the surgery to make social distancing possible.
- Enhanced medical-grade PPE to ensure protection to all patients and staff.
- Pre-screening of patients for potential COVID-19 symptoms.
- Spacing of appointments to ensure that the practice and waiting areas are not overcrowded.
Can I cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us.
Whats happens if I develop Covid-19 symptoms before my appointment?
If you develop any symptoms of Covid-19 please call us to cancel your appointment as soon as possible.
What should I do if someone I have been in contact with develops Covid-19 symptoms?
If anyone in your household devlops Covid-19 symptoms, please cancel your appointment and self-isolate for 14 days as per Goverment advice.
What should I do if I develop Covid-19 symptoms after my appointment?
Should you develop Covid-19 symptoms up to 14 days after your appointment, you must call the practice so that it can be deep cleaned and our staff can be tested.
